St Michael’s NS, Crosspatrick

St Michael’s NS, Crosspatrick is a Mixed Roman Catholic school in Co. Kilkenny, under the patronage of the Bishop of Ossory.

We offer a low pupil-teacher ratio and have two mainstream class teachers, a support teacher and an SNA. We are in close proximity to the Church and the spacious Village Hall.  Our outdoor facilities are excellent including a Polytunnel, Ball Wall, Tarmac Area and Maintained Grass Areas. We are developing our outdoor learning areas.

We actively take part in activities such as Swimming, Sports, Science, Art, Music, Drama, French, Coding, and have a strong focus on using ICT to supplement the curriculum. We have one Ipad device per student and these are used effectively to support Literacy and Numeracy amongst other activities. Our 500MB fibre connection provides the best speeds available.

We strive to offer a range of experiences and opportunities to students. Our favourable student teacher ratio allows each student to get a meaningful amount of personal time during each activity, leading to a more fulfilling and rewarding experience.
